The way they fit into their relationships leaves you so satisfied!

This is a tiny spoiler, but come on, you both knew and wanted it to happen - each twin get sexed up good, but by different masters. I once heard someone call hot twins a two-for-one deal: in this book, you get two very different delicious relationships for the price of one, and I loved every second of them!
Rin's relationship was beautiful. Too many people take sweet boys with a tragic backstory and write them into a deep bdsm relationship where they are "protected" (stripped of freedom) by their masters, and it doesn't psychologically fit in the slightest. Even if they're sexy, I hate reading those, if only because they are unrealistic. Rin was abused, yes, and he still gets the kinky sex he enjoys with his master, there's no denying that, but he also gets a master who loves him and makes love to him, and it just made my soul sing. It sort of made me wish for something nasty to happen to his twin, though, so I was pleasantly surprised to find how much I actually didn't want that.
Taylen's backstory is a very different one from his brother's, even though they are twins, and once you are made to sympathize with him, he just soaks into your heart. When he got his master, he got a bit deeper of a bdsm relationship than Rin, and his sarcastic personality fit PERFECTLY into his role. I couldn't help but grin every time he and his soon-to-be master bantered with each other - it was such a unique kind of courtship, and he earned, loved, and re-earned every delicious lash he got! I'm usually a sucker for the sweet subs, but Taylen actually ended up being my favorite!
Lastly, I think the thing I loved most about this story was that everybody GETS their ending - and I mean even the side characters. There are several relationships brought to an end, whether business or sexual, in the wake of the main characters finding each other, but no one is just left hanging. Everyone's read those stories where the couple gets their happily ever after and the leftovers are just not addressed. But not here! I haven't been this satisfied by the thoroughness with which a cast of characters is concluded in quite a while.

I like Yamila's books so far. This story was very good. I like how Xenoskar treated Rin-Timber with respect. I also liked how Horreth treated Taylen with respect. Horreth and Xenoskar had a similar relationship that Taylen and Rin-Timber had with each other. I hope there is more stories with these four characters in them. Erin

Double the pleasure, double the fun!

Hot premise, hot story. There's not one, but two sexy couples in this story. Not only do we get steamy sex, a great storyline and characterization, but we also have swoonworthy BDSM going on. If you love fantasy and sexy MM times, you'll enjoy this. I know I did.
