Good Overview of the Basics, but a Bit Repetitive

This book is good overview of the most important basics, but when it comes to the exercises, it does get a bit repetitive and it's difficult to see how they could really have all that different of an effect. In truth, it seems like filler. Maybe it's just that the explanations are too sparse? I understand that exercises are difficult to describe in text, but others have done it better and I did expect more.
The book gets three stars("It's OK") because it didn't make any bad recommendations. It just didn't live up to my expectations. In the end, I was glad to pick this book up during the free GAW. Thanks for making it available!

I have been practicing the martial arts for over 20 years and I organically purchased this book to help me gain better control of my breathing technique which is something I have always struggled with. This book turned out to have a lot valuable information and exercises that I have found very useful. The author covers diaphragmatic, chest and clavicle breathing (the last two I knew nothing about) which all have different applications from curing insomnia, asthma, anti-aging and panic attacks to name a few. A really great reference book that is helping improve not only my martial arts practice but my over all health as well.

The book covers a wide range of breathing benefits for all parts of our body; i.e., lung stamina, slows aging, increases energy level and for conditions, such as asthma. It is written descriptively and easy to follow directions. This book motivates us to become as healthy as possible, in a way that is attainable and for long term benefits!.
