Helpful, entertaining, and hilarious!

My wife and I are having a fifteenth anniversary next year, and we're considering a trip to Jamaica. As I was researching Jamaica trips, I kept having Hedonism II pop up in searches for things we enjoy doing. Hedonism II!! I always thought that was a swinger place! Well, as I started reading reviews of Hedo II, I realized that my perception wasn't completely acccurate. Hedo can be that. It can also be a lot of other things. It kept showing up in my searches, so I needed to learn more. This book by Chis Santilli kept showing up as one of the best resources to learn more about Hedo, so I grabbed a copy. I'm glad I did!

Ms. Santilli does a great job of explaining what Hedo is and what Hedo isn't. She covers a lot of areas that only a many time repeat customer such as her would even know. She thoroughly explains Hedo and gives a lot of information that's useful to anyone travelling to Jamaica. Her stories, pictures, and the stories of other Hedo regulars she shares are priceless to anybody considering a trip there.

...and she's FUNNY!!

I'd recommend this book to anybody considering a trip to Jamaica with an open mind. If nudity offends you, don't buy this book because most of the pictures are nude. Then again, if nudity offends you...I doubt if you've even heard of Hedo II! I don't know if we'll ever take a trip there, but this book was enjoyable and my wife wants to read it now. We're still probably going to take a trip to Jamaica either way. This book allows us to make an informed decision as to whether it might be at Hedo.

That makes it quite valuable. My copy was autographed by the author as well.

There are three kinds of people at Hedo II.
The most unfortunate are those who have never read Chris Santilli's guide and have arrived ill-prepared to take advantage of all the fun, never get a good chair reserved on the beach, try to get reservations at the specialty restaurants on nights they're closed, and generally don't get clued in until it's time to leave.
The next group are "Hedo veterans" and those who have purchased this hilarious, all too accurate and necessary guide to having the most fun at the wildest, most wicked resort imaginable. The latter can be recognized by big smiles, genuine laughter, and a look of satisfaction they have from knowing as much as the "Hedo veterans" by being prepared.
Then there are the true savvy travelers. Any smart traveler worth his/her frequent flier miles relies on an up-to-date travel guide to get the very most out of a vacation. Chris Santilli's most recent update, although not a major revision, furnishes a bit more information and corrects information that is no longer accurate. In the breezy, conversational tone of this guide, the author often tells us tidbits about named staff at the resort. The 4th edition takes into account recent staff adjustments as well as other changes. There are also some new pictures.
We gladly purchased the 4th edition which, like the 2001 version, answered so many of our questions before our recent first trip. This new version just answered them with a greater degree of accuracy and we're glad we purchased the update before leaving. We'll pass our older version on to one of our many friends who seem to think their 1978 Fodor's works just fine, then are puzzled when we seem to have a much better time wherever we go.
Support this shoot-from-the-hip, fun-loving go naked gal who is the only author telling it like it is when it comes to Hedo. Buy the 4th edition and begin the countdown to your first, second, or umpteenth trip.

Okay read......

There were 3 things that disappointed me in this book: 1) the alpha was trying too hard, 2) Carole Anne got on my nerves and 3) the sheikh was so unnecessary! If the alpha had so much stamina he should have been able to satisfy his Queen. Why brag about the length, width and stamina if you to have tag in someone else. This book could have been better.

It wasnt that good

I have read worse but it wasnt worth paying for. Some of the lines were very corny and took me out of the story. Alexander name seemed to change to shanye a couple of times and there were a few typo. But my main problem was alexander. I agree with the other reviewer the sheik was unnessary and a weak excuse to get a three way into the story. If she needed sex that much he should have removed himself from where he was to where he was needed instead of letting some strange man do it. After making such a big deal about sex being no big deal he humiliates summer with how many guys she was with. I thought carole set down was classeier. I didnt think alex was a good king i would assume he would have better protection for the town. And the make up scene was stupid to me. Like the problem was carole needed to be dominated and not that alex was to dumb to tell her how much she meant to him. Carole was a little annoying with her self esteem issues but she stepped up by kicking guys to the curb when they deserved it and doing what it took when her people was in danger. Anyway if it was free or .99 i wouldnt have been so negative but for the price it should have been much better.

Good Series

I picked up the entire series and have really enjoyed them. My Wolf King, Alexander is an exciting Alpha who finds his mate Carol Anne when he is out running in wolf form. A Panther Shifter is breaking into her cabin with the intent of killing her after having some "Fun". Alexander smells cinnamon and apples and wonder of wonders - something else...he has just found his mate.

This is well written with drama, humor and of course romance. A good read for someone who enjoys the paranormal/werewolf/shapeshifter genre. This was not my normal style of reading material until I got hooked on the Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels Series. After reading those I started looking for books that sounded just as good. This story ranks up there with Kate Daniels and can't wait to finish book 2, My Wolf Protector.

This book came in very quickly. My only objection to the book is that there are no answers to the problems at the end of the chapter and I have been unable to find a solution manual. It requires working with your professor as you work through the course.

Actionable Knowledge on How to Profit on Sentiment Analysis

Trading on Sentiment assumes there are patterns in the markets and that a subset of these patterns are driven on sentiment. The book sheds light on how to use this information to profit in the markets. This is the first book of its kind I have ever read, and I have read a fair number of books on finance.

I have read a few books on behavioral finance in the past, and while they provided interesting and some potentially useful information, I believe Trading on Sentiment provided more valuable, actionable, and thoroughly explained insights on how to actually trade using behavioral finance principles. For instance, one of the books I read previously used the Rosemarie Nagel experiment as an analogy to explain how traders attempt to predict each other. The first book, however, came to the conclusion that predicting markets is inconsistent at best. By contrast, Trading on Sentiment used the experiment as motivation to begin a discussion on game theory strategy levels and how they play out in modern behavioral finance.
While the book might seem to be set on the notion that sentiment is the prime mover of asset prices, the author actually maintains a fairly impartial tone on the matter throughout the book. Instead of falling down the rabbit hole of speculation, the author reframes the question to a more manageable and precise form - What causes traders to buy and sell? Simply, traders respond to information relevant to an emotion, mental model, belief, or expectation. This is the assumption the rest of the book proceeds from, and the author provides real evidence from behavioral finance to support this claim.

Chapter five is the first chapter that delves into predictive analysis based on sentiment data, and I found it to be one of the most valuable chapters of the book. Chapter five’s discussion of forecasting models built with TRMI data towards the end of the chapter was especially enlightening.

The book uses the Thomson Reuters MarketPsych Indices (TRMI) as its primary source of actionable sentiment data. The TRMI target a number of market-moving sentiments based on news and social media sentiment. The book also cites earnings conference call transcripts, product reviews, and Google Trends (search) data to explain sentiment trading principles. I found the TRMI data to be the most valuable in general because it distilled sentiment and investor expectation down to a single indicator that could be plotted over a price chart. In addition, it aggregates a number of disparate sentiment sources using large scale text analysis and is specifically built for trading on sentiment.

All in all I found the book to be well written and an excellent primer to trading on sentiment from a professional who knows what he is talking about.

The most detailed book I've read on trading sentiment

Richard Peterson's books have always been very enjoyable and this one is no exception.

I was impressed by the amount of researches that this book cited and the details of the discussions.

One thing I don't like that much is the conflicts of interest in this book.

The data used in this book is not freely available to the public and most of the strategies in this book use this data. I wish MarketPsych team could release at least 5 years of data for us to test on.

As a Tactical Trader, Sentiment Analysis is one of the pillars my process is built on. Trading on Sentiment is great introduction for novice traders and refresher for the experienced. It is well written and while contradictory at time, doesn't read like a dry academic tome. Thomson Reuters MarketPsych Indices (TRMI) is arguably the most comprehensive sentiment analysis platform available to Market Professionals and to have TRMI data provide the backdrop for the content in this book makes it exponentially more valuable.

Should be added to reading lists of Trading Firms the world over.
