About the Author
Artist Carol Sorkin Hunter’s work not only spans artistic genres, it also crisscrosses the globe. Ms. Hunter was born on Long Island, New York, but grew up in California. She studied at the Art Center in Los Angeles and then traveled extensively throughout Europe, specifically to Rome where she spent an extended period of time. Over the past thirty years, She has put together an extensive portfolio of work, using a wide variety of media to highlight her talent for art.
Ms. Hunter has been married to R. Ian Hunter, a Michigan attorney, since 1979. They currently live in Bloomfield Hills and are parents of twin daughters: Lisa, an art therapist, and Jennifer, a psychologist. In addition to her artistry, she is an Emeritus Science of Mind Practitioner who lectures for the Science of Mind Church, composes music, and travels.

Heartwarming tale of happily ever after

This is a heartwarming story of a woman with an artist's sensibilities who faced challenges that will be all too familiar to many: the pressures of a looks-centric culture (amplified in Hollywood) which drove self-image issues, particularly with weight; divorce and single parenthood foisted upon a talented artist with little practical experience in providing for young children... subjects that touch thousands upon thousands of women. Carol Sorkin Hunter was able to overcome her issues, and in doing so, meet her Prince Charming, living happily ever after. A deeply spiritual woman, Hunter is driven to share her steps to success with others, hoping to inspire them to reach for their own goals. This is an uplifting book, and well worth the read.

For every gender....

The story of Carol Sorkin Hunter was written so delicately and beautifully. From the beginning it clutches you in a fashion that you just can't put down the book.
Her sensitivity that she acquired from all her life learning's is something we can all become skilled at.
Her discoveries about herself took time, but somewhere in her sole she had some sort of patience that kept her going. No matter your gender, this book is a must read

Something for Everyone

It is not often that a friend of yours writes a book and has it published. It is a difficult thing to do,but when the book is actually worth reading, that is a MARVEL.
Carol's book grabs your attention and the story carries you quickly along on an interesting adventure through her childhood and early adult life
There is something for everyone in this book as she overcomes sugar addiction and several other unfortunate obstacles that could have destroyed many; but her belief in the power of prayer and a strong mind is the Divine Accident.
