hopefully, the future of all guidebooks

This was a little tricky to get going on my computer, but once underway, came through on all promises. A great addition to anyone's library who plans to climb in this area.

Different Instructions

I received the cd and tried to play it on my mac (like a normal cd) and it would not work. Days later of effort and still nothing. So I wrote the author (Gams)and explained my problem. He didn't respond quick enough so I asked Amazon for a return. I received the return authorization and then Gams returned my email. He told me that all I had to do was to copy the contents of the disc onto my hard drive and the program would work. It did. So the program is great - pictures, routes, descriptions, etc. but a little bit quirky. I would have given it 5 stars but I had to give the program 246 mb of my hard drive installing it. If you are having trouble with opening the document, just drag it to your drive and have fun.

Good product

I initially tried to run this off of the CD as I didn't read the instructions in the jewel case. I called number to the publisher and got Aaron on the phone. Turned out to be the author. He was very helpful. By simply copying the contents of the disc to my mac's hard drive it opened and ran fine. Haven't used the beta yet, but it looks comprehensive. The navigation could be a little more intuitive, but overall it's a good buy.
